When did you start your apprenticeship at Skyline and why did you apply?
My apprenticeship began in August 2020. I had already completed an internship here beforehand and quickly realized that Skyline was the right company for me.
What are your responsibilities and what aspects of the apprenticeship at Skyline do you particularly enjoy?
My responsibilities include, among other things, organizing air transport. We apprentices also carry out maintenance tasks to ensure smooth internal operations. I especially appreciate that even as an apprentice, you can work directly with your colleagues on an equal footing and enjoy a great working atmosphere.
What is the working atmosphere like at Skyline?
The working atmosphere at Skyline is like a family. Everyone gets along, and you can feel the sense of camaraderie. I’ve never experienced anything like it before.
Why is logistics so exciting for you?
There are always new challenges to overcome. If there’s a problem, there’s always a suitable logistical solution. Finding this solution is always exciting!
What are your career plans after your apprenticeship?
I’d like to continue gaining work experience here and further my education.
What tips do you have for other young people who would also like to start an apprenticeship at Skyline?
I would say that ambition, enjoyment of personal contact within an international network, a willingness to learn, and teamwork will lead to success.
