When did you start at Skyline and why did you apply?
I’ve been with Skyline Express since August 2019. At the time, I was looking for an apprenticeship and saw that Skyline sponsors the White Hawks, a football team from Lage, Germany. That’s how I became aware of the company and applied.
What are your responsibilities and what aspects of your job do you particularly enjoy?
My job is very diverse. I handle customs clearance, organize the pickup of goods from the shipper, and also manage delivery here in Germany, including customs clearance. Besides this variety, I especially enjoy the contact with people from many different countries and cultures.
What is the work atmosphere like at Skyline?
The work atmosphere here is very friendly and collegial!
Why is logistics so exciting for you?
Logistics is never boring! I face new challenges here every day, and I especially enjoy organizing transport!
What are your career plans for the coming years?
I’d like to pursue further training in my field and expand my expertise.
What tips do you have for potential applicants who would also like to join Skyline?
Be open-minded, curious, and don’t be afraid of new tasks.
